How do I rent a dress?

It’s very simple, pick the dress of your choice and size, put it in your basket and checkout.

How long can I keep the dress?

After your event, please return the garment with the bag it came in and box.  Use the mailing label that is included in the box and return within 3 days after the event.  After the first week, you will be charged $20 a day.  On the 7th day, if the dress hasn’t been returned then your credit card will be charged the remaining price of the dress. 

What is the cleaning process of the garment and the bag it came in?

After we receive the garment package, our dry-cleaning service will pick up and clean the hanger and both the garment and the bag it came in so everything is properly sanitized.

After the cleaning process, an inspection will be done to ensure the cleaning has been completed satisfactorily. Thereafter, it’s returned back to us ready for future use.

Can I keep the hanger and the garment back? 

All items must be returned including the hanger and the garment bag.  There will be a $10 charge for a missing hanger and $25 for a missing garment bag.

When do I get charged?

You will be charged upon checking out for the rental fee. A hold for the full price of the dress will be placed on your card. If items are not returned by the scheduled date then your card will be charged for the retail price of the dress and any accessories. 

What happens if the garment doesn’t fit?  

We send out the garment to you as soon as you place the order.   You have 2 days to try and decide if it fits and you want to wear it to the event. After the 2 days, you are committed to the dress and you will not be refunded.  If you decide not to keep the garment please return back to us. You would be deducted $50 and the rest of the fund will be refunded to your method of payment.

How do I change my order or cancel it if I decide against it?

Please e-mail us at support@lajolie-mln.com.  If the dress hasn’t been shipped then you will get a full refund the first week after the order.  After the first week, cancelation of the dress will result in a $50 fee.  If the dress has been shipped then you will be charged a $30 fee and the balance will be refunded, if the box isn’t opened and the dress arrived back to us within 3 days.  We will send you an e-mail with a mailing label.  If the box is opened, then there will be a $50 fee and you may use the mailing label that is included in the package. 

Can I get a replacement of a garment if it doesn’t fit? 

Yes, you will be able to get a replacement if time allows.  You will be charged a $30 convenience fee as we have to get every dress cleaned when returned to us.  

Can I keep the dress if I love it?

Absolutely, you would pay the difference between the rental and purchase price.  

If the dress gets damaged, would I be charged the retail price of the dress? 

If it’s minor damage, then there might be only a repair fee.  If the dress is damaged and can’t be repaired, you will be charged the retail price and you may keep. If you mailed the dress to us, you have the option for us to ship it back to you for $9.99.

Can I make alterations to the dress?

Yes, alterations are accepted.  Please e-mail support@lajolie-mln.com to get approval.  If dress is altered without approval, you will be charged the retail price of the dress.
